Hotel Guidelines and Reminders

  1. Resort hours are from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm (Day Tour) & 6:00pm to 5:00am (Overnight).
  2. Food and drinks are allowed at the resort. Corkage is applied to all alcoholic drinks and softdrinks.
  3. Only proper swimming attire in our swimming pools is allowed.
  4. Bringing in pets is not allowed.
  5. Bringing in fire arms or any form of deadly weapons is strictly prohibited.
  6. Tariff rates inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT).
  7. Standard check-in / out for room occupants is 2:00pm / 12:00pm.
  8. Use of Cottages / Tables and electricity are not included in the Hotel room charges.
  9. Any form of incidentals will automatically be charged to guest / swimmers.

 

House Rules

Before checking in, guests are requested to verify their Room Rate with the Desk Clerk.  Residence for part of a day counts as one whole day and will be charged accordingly.

  1. Day Stay:  6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
    Overnight Stay:  2pm – 12nn
    1. Half of the daily rate will be charged if the room is not vacated between noon and  6:00 p.m.
    2. A full day’s rate will be added to the bill if the room is  vacated later than 6:00 p.m.  Should visitors wish to extend their stay, they are requested to advise the Reception staff not later than 6:00 p.m., the previous day of their departure.
  2. Medical Services: In the event of any guest being taken ill in the Hotel, please inform the Management and the necessary arrangement for a Doctor and/or admission to a hospital will be made.
  3. Gambling is strictly prohibited within the Resort.
  4. Room Service: Cooking is not permitted.  The modern facilities of our restaurant are geared to satisfy the most discriminating palate.  For regular meals or short orders, please call “Room Service” (from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00m.n. only) if you wish to be served in your room.  No outside establishments are allowed to supply meals, drinks or food of any kind.  There is a corkage charge for any drinks brought in by guests.
  5. Restaurant is open from 6:00am to 10:00 p.m. only.
  6. Room Service is available until 12:00 midnight only.  For emergency service after midnight, please contact the Front Desk who will attend to your needs.
  7. Pets: Under no circumstances are animals of any description  are permitted in the rooms.
  8. Valuable Safe Deposit Boxes:  The Hotel will NOT assume responsibility for money, valuables, and/or important documents lost in the rooms.  Safety deposit box are available at the Front Office of the hotel for use by hotel guests (free of charge).  You are advised not to leave valuables in the room.  On retiring, please lock (including barrel bolt) your door from inside.
  9. Any Damage to Hotel Property, either by guests or their friends, will be charged to the Guest at cost of replacement + 50%.
  10. Children:  The Management welcomes parents with children but seeks their cooperation in endeavoring to ensure that crying and/or other noises do not disturb other guests.  Children are not permitted to play in the corridors or public rooms of the Hotel.
  11. Soliciting for gratuities and any incivility by the Hotel staff is strictly prohibited and guests are earnestly requested to report any irregularities to the Manager or the Front Office.  All room boys wear badges displaying their names.  The Hotel cannot be held responsible for any private dealings between guest and Hotel staff.
  12. IDD/NDD Calls:  Long distance/international calls are charged according to PLDT rate + 10% VAT + 50% handling fee. No collect calls are allowed.
  13. Use of cottage is not included in payment.
  14. No Electrical appliances over 50 watts maybe connected with the room circuit.  All outlets are 220V only.
  15. Laundry:  A laundry concession serves the hotel.  No laundry or ironing is allowed in the rooms.  Dry cleaning and valet services are also available at reasonable rates.  Guest Laundry collected by 9:00 a.m. will be returned the next day.  In case of damage caused to clothes, the laundry company servicing the Hotel will only be responsible for not more than two times the charge of cleaning or pressing.
  16. Notice: The Management reserves the right to give notice to guests to vacate the premises without giving any reason for so doing.  The room is cleaned everyday even without the guest’s permission.
  17. Visitors are requested to register themselves at the Front Desk.  The Hotel does not permit unregistered visitors of the opposite sex in the room of guest (s). Hotel guest visitors are allowed to stay in the room until 12:00 midnight only.
  18. When leaving your room, please turn off the lights and air-condition. Please make sure also faucets are closed after being used.
  19. Beware of Anonymous Callers (Visitors or Impostors) pretending to be friends or acquaintances, who offer services or who borrow or ask for money or valuables.  Any such call must be reported immediately to the Hotel officer on duty.
  20. Accounts.  If accounts are to be charged to a party other than the Hotel guest, written authorization (subject to approval of the Hotel ), must be submitted before guest(s) check out.  Hotel bills are payable upon demand.
  21. Guest Liabilities: The Management reserves the right to lock up the Guest’s room and re-sell the same if the Hotel’s rules and regulations and/or failure in settling obligations upon demand are not adhered to by guest.  The Management reserves the right to retain your personal properties to settle any outstanding balances of Guest charges.
  22. Taxicab Services: Sight seeing taxis/tours can be arranged through the Front Desk.
  23. Car Park: The Management holds no responsibility for damage or loss to vehicles parked in the Hotel premises.   Vehicles are left in the Hotel car park at owner’s risk.  The Management will not be held responsible for any damage or theft to guest’s vehicles.
  24. Key's:  Visitors are requested to lock their doors when leaving their rooms and deposit the key at the Front Office Desk.
  25. Disturbances:  Please be considerate to other guests on the premises. We bid you a warm welcome to  RIVERVIEW RESORT AND HOTEL, and assure you that we will do everything possible to make your stay here a pleasant and memorable one
